10,000-s.f. Medina home with yoga studio, cold plunge lists for nearly $5 million

A nearly 10,000-square-foot home in Medina that recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation has just hit the market for $4.95 million.

Excelsior-based Hendel Homes led the renovation work in 2022, which touched almost all of the residence, according to listing agent Jessica Prudden of Prudden Co. The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home is situated on over three acres surrounded by mature trees.

“It’s rare to see this level of design consistency throughout a home,” she said. “From the materials to the layout, everything feels intentional and cohesive.”

The main level offers a great room with a wall of windows and 18-foot ceilings, an oversized kitchen and bar space. A sunroom leads to a patio with folding doors, according to the listing.

Features include natural-stone accents, custom millwork and wood floors.

Upstairs, the home has three bedrooms accessible by a grand staircase and balcony.

The lower level is filled with entertainment opportunities, including an indoor basketball court, media room and bar with custom millwork. There are also spaces for relaxation, such as a yoga studio, full-sized gym and wellness room with a sauna, soaking tub, steam shower and cold plunge.

Plymouth-based Studio M Interiors led the interior design work.

Built in 1989, the home is located at 170 Spur Circle. It last sold for $1.85 million in 2021 prior to the 2022 renovation work, according to Hennepin County property records. Taxes payable in 2026 are $29,406.
