Twin Cities’ most expensive home sale in June sold at $4.4M

June’s most expensive Twin Cities home sale was an Orono property at 755 Long Bridge Drive, which sold for $4.4 million.

The cash sale closed June 10, according to a certificate of real estate value. The 10-acre property sits near the shores of Long Lake, according to its listing with Re/Max Results.

With over 8,700 square feet of space, the home has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. It was built in 1984, but underwent some renovations in recent years. The lakefront home comes with a saltwater pool, hot tub, indoor basketball court, golf simulator, sauna, gym, game room with a bar, theater room and a skating rink. The property is also only minutes away from downtown Wayzata. Ben Johnson with Re/Max Results was the listing real estate agent for the property.

In 2024, Hennepin County charged the Orono home over $38,000 in property taxes. It last sold in 2020 for a little over $2 million.

Since the beginning of the year, the priciest homes have generally sold in the $2 million to $4 million range – though there have been a handful of exceptions, such as the Deephaven home that sold in May for $7 million.

The only home that has so far topped that price is an Orono home that sold for $7.5 million in February.
